These Terms of Service govern access to and use of bbttagroup Postiz, a self-hosted instance of the open-source Postiz social media management software available at https://postiz.bbttagroup.com. The public website for bbttagroup is https://oz.bbttagroup.com.
1. Operator and Scope
The service is operated by bbttagroup, Civic association (občianske združenie), company ID 55090141, with its registered seat at Kláštorská 338/32, 949 01 Nitra-Zobor, Slovak Republic. In these Terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean bbttagroup.
The service is a self-hosted deployment used to plan, schedule, publish and review content for bbttagroup projects and related community activities. It is not operated by Postiz, Gitroom Limited, Gitroom LLC or TikTok. References to Postiz describe the software used to provide the service.
2. Who May Use the Service
The service is intended for authorized bbttagroup team members, administrators, volunteers and invited collaborators. You must be at least 18 years old and able to accept these Terms. If you use the service on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to do so.
You are responsible for your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
3. What the Service Does
The service helps authorized users draft, schedule, publish and manage content across connected social media platforms. Depending on enabled integrations, this may include TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and other third-party platforms. Features and integrations may change when the underlying software, hosting environment or platform APIs change.
4. Your Content
"Your Content" means text, images, video, audio, links, captions, metadata, schedules and other material you upload, generate or transmit through the service. You retain any rights you have in Your Content.
You give us permission to host, store, process, transmit, display and publish Your Content only as needed to operate the service, secure it, provide support and send content to the connected platforms you choose.
You are responsible for making sure that Your Content is lawful, that you have the necessary rights and permissions, and that publication complies with the rules of each connected platform.
5. Connected Platforms and TikTok
To use a connected platform, you may need to authenticate your account and authorize the service to act on your behalf through that platform's API. When you schedule or publish content, we send the selected content and related metadata to the platform you selected. Platform availability, API limits and publishing results are controlled by the relevant third party.
If you connect a TikTok account or publish to TikTok, you must comply with TikTok's Terms of Service, Community Guidelines and other applicable TikTok policies. You may revoke the service's platform access in the service settings or in the connected platform's own permissions settings.
6. Acceptable Use
You must not use the service, or allow anyone else to use it, to:
- publish or store unlawful, infringing, deceptive, hateful, harassing or abusive content;
- publish content that exploits or endangers minors;
- send spam, create fake engagement, operate undisclosed bots or run coordinated inauthentic behavior;
- violate the terms, developer policies or community rules of any connected platform;
- upload malware, attempt unauthorized access, bypass technical controls or disrupt the service;
- collect, upload or publish personal data without a valid legal basis and any required consent;
- use the service in a way that creates legal, security, privacy or reputational risk for bbttagroup.
We may remove content, revoke access or suspend accounts if we believe this section has been violated or if a connected platform or legal authority requires action.
7. AI-Assisted Features
If AI-assisted features are enabled, outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete or unsuitable for publication. You are responsible for reviewing any generated text, captions, hashtags, images or other outputs before using them. Do not enter confidential or sensitive personal data into AI prompts unless you are authorized to do so and the selected provider is approved for that data.
8. Open-Source Software and Intellectual Property
The service uses open-source Postiz software and other open-source components. Those components remain governed by their own licenses. bbttagroup's name, logos, website content and project materials are owned by bbttagroup or its licensors. These Terms do not transfer ownership of any intellectual property.
9. No Paid Subscription
We do not sell public subscriptions to this self-hosted service. If access is provided, it is provided for authorized organizational and community work. Separate donations, sponsorships or e-shop purchases are governed by their own terms and do not create a right to access this service.
10. Availability and Changes
We may update, pause, restrict or discontinue the service or any integration at any time, including when a third-party platform changes its API, review status, policies, rate limits or technical requirements. We do not guarantee that scheduled posts will publish at a specific time or that a connected platform will accept or display content.
11. Privacy
Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy. By using the service, you acknowledge that content and account data may be processed as described there.
12. Termination
You may request account closure by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create risk for the service or connected platforms, or no longer need access for bbttagroup-related work. After termination, data may be deleted or retained as described in the Privacy Policy.
13. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent allowed by law, the service is provided "as is" and "as available". We disclaim warranties of uninterrupted operation, error-free publication, fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy of analytics or platform responses.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, bbttagroup is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, content, data or platform access arising from use of the service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Slovak Republic, without affecting any mandatory rights you may have under the laws of your place of residence.
16. Changes and Contact
We may update these Terms when the service, legal requirements or connected platform rules change. The updated date at the top of this page shows when the Terms last changed.
