it really doesn’t matter; both can be tuned well.

Pros and cons

Pros

Dellorto:

• simple tuning just by swapping the jet — appreciated by beginners

• option to choose the venturi size when buying the carburetor

• plastic float bowl — doesn’t corrode

• built-in fuel filter

Jikov:

• tuning can be done by lowering/raising the float level by deforming (bending) the float — no need to change the jet

• preserves the machine’s originality

Cons

Dellorto:

• the original metal intake manifold isn’t sufficiently free-flowing

• higher price

Jikov:

• tuning is more complicated

• only two venturi sizes (12 mm on the 207, 14 mm on the 210)
